Malasuerte by Malacoda

Being an Italian born Chinese photographer and street artist the idea of populations without a strict concept of “home” and “roots” is dear to Dali’s heart (and art).  His pictures are often an exploration of contemporary local youth in their natural environments and the following pictures, shot between Barcelona and Lisbon, feature a heavy gipsy/gitano inspiration, a culture that is deeply rooted in Spain and Portugal’s history.

The models are dressed in full Malacoda looks, a young brand from Italy which also takes pride in bringing the country’s heritage onto a bigger and international audience with its unique blend of international design languages mixed with local references.

The shooting delivers appealing images of globalized youth, seeing the world as a free space to discover without given boundaries.
